Fig Season is in full effect with Murray having at least 4 varieties (this past week was Brown Turkey, Celeste, Experimental Green/striped, white kadota). JJ Lone has Violette de Bordeaux, Candy stripe, and Honey varieties. JJ is 2x the price of Murray.
Wong Mangos are going strong with some really nice fruit this year from the Valencia Prides.
Murray continues to pile on the grapes, but Thomcords are finished with him. He does have an IFG variety the Candy Dream that is a cross of the Thomcord. Sweet Mayabelles are back too. These are pinkish round fruit with a sweet but quite floral flavor profile.
Jimmy Nardellos are finally here from Weiser. Today I saw the very beginning of their round Calabrians, but I would wait another week to start on them. If you need something similar now you can order 10# boxes of cherry bomb from the warehouse. We will be out of the Nardellos until next Thursday and will continue to try to stock weekly by the LB.
Tenerelli will gap on Yellow Nectarine for 4 to 5 weeks before his next variety is ready. Today they only had plums and white peach.
Peaches this coming week from Regier we are expecting to be stocking the classic O’henrey.
