Bloomsdale Spinach

Category
Baby Lettuce

General Information
Producing leaves that are a bit bigger and somewhat crinkly, Bloomsdale spinach offers a never-bitter, sweet flavor. Bloomsdale spinach has a more substantial, winter greens taste and texture than standard spinach and has longer, thin, edible stems on each leaf.

Similar to Savoy spinach, both in flavor and size, this variety can be cooked for longer periods of time, and holds its shape and texture well but is delicate enough to use as a salad green. Ideal for sauteing and wilting, use as a substitute for collards, chard or kale.
