30 May MARKET REPORT – May 29, 2023
Peaches and nectarines are trickling in! Plums will arrive in approximately 2 weeks from Scott Farms which is where we source most of ours for the season as he grows an incredible large number of varietals
Regier Farms may gap on yellow peach this coming week as he tends to gap for a week right after he begins. Once that happens we will be stocking a lot of his yellow peaches and whatever else he has that is good (white peach and nectarines).
We will fill in the gaps with Scott Farms mostly.
Tenerelli Orchards should arrive in 2.5 weeks with apricots, and Munak Ranch will arrive June 7th with at least Sungold Tomatoes!
We will stock plenty of their sun golds as usual.
Summer squash has officially begun as multiple farms now have a few types in.
The heat took out a lot of the nice Bloomsdale (Weiser and mostly of Tamai), Tutti still has, but its not in clusters and it was large and beat up.
Eggplant will arrive in the next 2 weeks and I would expect lemon cucumbers to arrive by then as well.
Please get your orders in by 12pm or earlier Tuesday to ensure product can be reserved for preorder.
Harrys Berries is beginning to instate a new cutoff time of 5pm daily instead of the old 8pm.
