24 Nov MARKET REPORT – November 24, 2024
Please see attached as we will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving. Regular service resumes Friday morning.
That means there is no market delivery next week until Friday morning.
Looking forward to Xmas and NYE there will be no Market that week as both days Xmas and NY Day fall on Wednesdays this year.
Citrus season is upon us as Reiger Farms returned last week with their Satsumas. We will stock some this week. Available in 25# cs or 10# breaker.
Still no Cara or blood they typically come a little later.
We are already carrying some of Murray Farms Tahitian Pomelos (think original Gatorade flavor).
This week we got red gem back from the garden of and extra mixed lettuce, but that will not be happening this coming week. They said they will be short both gems and not as much mix as last week. Plenty of Chicories!
Fresh Shelling beans at 2 peas in a pod have come to a close for the season. If you still have bean needs they have plenty of dry.
They also have some gorgeous cauliflowers now.
Tutti Frutti will be finished with heirloom tomato, but we will still have 2 more weeks of Munak Ranch before the frost takes it all out.
Fresno Evergreen started with their Japanese sprouting cauliflower as well this past week.
Dragon fruit season is coming to at both Schaner and Rincon del mar
