22 Sep MARKET REPORT – September 22, 2024
Cuyama Orchards has returned with apples this week and See Canyon has some other varieties they did not have week prior.
Murray has finished grapes but is starting Haychia Persimmons (if you want hoshigaki request T-bars)
Knk Ranch has a small crop of Rose Apples ( they are there with a table this week)
Weiser Farms has begun radishes again, and we finally have some Jimmy Nardellos from them too.
Melons – weiser and munak expect to have until the end of October.
Reiger Farms has left the market for the season and will return in a couple of months with tangerines.
Tenerelli Orchards is right behind them with approx. 2 weeks left.
Sungolds have been a bit tight, but Munak is working with us to get as much as possible.
Sadly The Garden of reported last night they will have to skip one more week of lettuces for sizing up. This means we will again only have green gem lettuce from them this coming week.
We hope to start bringing down Frog Hollow Warren Pears in the next couple of weeks, but if there is enough interest now we can arrange for an earlier start. Please email me back if you are interested now so I can arrange tomorrow ..
