Persian mulberries are equal parts delicious and mysterious. The Persian Mulberry is just about the most delicious berry/cherrylike fruit known. This 1 3/4″ long x 3/4″ wide seedless purple fruit has it all, juicy, high sugar, and just enough acidity to balance it. Sugar and acidity are obvious components of flavor but this fruits complexity is enough to hold its own regardless, and it has strong aromatics to boot.
